UCEDA School’s English Program for Adult Immigrants
UCEDA School’s three-level English program is built around the real-life language needs of adult immigrants in the United States. Every level integrates reading, writing, listening, and speaking with practical vocabulary for work, family, and community settings.
Level 1: Basic English (CEFR A1-A2) For students with little or no prior English experience. You will learn foundational vocabulary, everyday phrases, basic grammar, and how to handle simple, predictable situations in English. By the end of Level 1, you can introduce yourself, handle basic workplace and community interactions, and communicate in familiar everyday situations.
Level 2: Intermediate English (CEFR B1-B2) For students who have some English and want to become genuinely functional in everyday life and work. Level 2 develops conversational fluency, reading and writing for workplace and community settings, understanding spoken English at natural speed, and communicating on topics beyond simple situations.
Level 3: Advanced English (CEFR C1-C2) For students who want to reach professional and academic-level English. Level 3 develops the language skills needed for supervisory or professional roles, academic study, complex written communication, and full participation in English-speaking environments.

Whether you have no English at all or already have some foundation, you will be placed in the class that matches your current level. A Recognized Credential Completing a level at UCEDA School earns you an official Certificate of Completion.
